Eau de toilette
Molecule 02 is composed of pure and singular Ambroxan.
Ambroxan is a crystalline chemical structure identical to ambrox derived from ambergris. For centuries, ambergris has been one of the most precious ingredients in perfumery. It is a mysterious substance expelled by the sperm whale, which only achieves its refined scent after a long maturation floating in the ocean.
Today, ambergris is rare, and the "amber" in a modern perfume is a synthetic equivalent of some of the molecules that make up its aroma. The best of these equivalents is Ambroxan, a molecule identical to that of ambergris, which retains the sensuality and finesse of the latter.
Ambroxan was isolated from plant sources in 1950.
The maximum percentage of Ambroxan that can be dissolved in a perfume composition is 13,5%. Beyond that, it begins to crystallize. Most perfumes containing "amber" have only 1-2%.
Molecule 02 is composed of 100% Ambroxan, alcohol and a little water. This fragrance can be described as an almost mineral and smooth freshness, which unfolds subtly, enveloping the senses in sensual and sparkling olfactory layers.
