The giant lotus leaves part to make way for the buds which pierce the surface of the emerald green pond. They turn their faces towards the sun, their delicate fragrance floating around them. In the shade of the flowers, tiny dragonfly nymphs emerge from the shallow waters. They spread their fragile wings and shyly fly away, ready to explore a world outside the water. The glistening ponds of the nearby golden rice fields call to dragonflies. Their long, trembling bodies flit across the cascading terraces to rest on the swaying stems, sparkling with light captured in the droplets on their iridescent wings.

Like a lotus unfurling its petals, Zoologist Dragonfly opens with a surge of magnificent aquatic floral notes. Touches of rice, powdery iris and mimosa emanate from a luxuriant stole of greenery, under the intimate aroma of an imminent summer downpour. Dragonfly captures the richness and romance of impressionism, a floral backdrop beneath an aquatic veil.
