Poécile's story begins in 2020, when Léa returned to her native region of Auvergne during lockdown. There, she rediscovered the familiar scents of her childhood: oak moss during walks in the forest, morning dew in the garden, and vegetables from her grandmother's garden. This experience inspired her to tell the story of her journey in a different way.

In 2021, the idea was born to create perfumes inspired not by faraway destinations, but by the richness of the French landscape. To bring her project to life, Léa enlisted the help of Marie Schnirer and Patrice Revillard, who worked with her on creating the formulas.

Poécile has thus developed a collection where each fragrance evokes a place: a region, a landscape, a light, a season, or a sensation. It's a way to rediscover France through the senses and transform travel memories into olfactory compositions.

The name Poécile itself refers to nature: it is the scientific name for the titmouse, a small bird familiar to French gardens. A symbol of movement and freedom, it also evokes the scent that travels through the air.
